We have finally gotten back into a routine around here. After Christmas we started one up, but then every single person in our house got sick. It started with Sweet Baby's ear infection/cold. Then, each person got the high fever/cold and some had the stomach flu, too. That lasted almost 3 weeks! We had a bed made up on the living room floor and lots of shows from the library.
On February 5, Girlfriend and I took the train up north for my cousin's wedding shower. Next week is the wedding and Girlfriend is a flower girl. I will be sure to get some pictures up after that.
February 17-20 we traveled to visit family in Iowa. We were gifted with a night at a hotel for just our family. It was so nice to have fun and relax with Daddy and the kiddos. On Friday, Daddy, Grandpa and the four oldest kiddos went snowboarding/skiing. A great time was had by all! Friday night all of the older cousins played on Grandpa's snow fort behind his house. It was huge! On Saturday, we visited the Hatch's and met their new baby boy. So sweet! We, also, went to a Hawkeye basketball game and had dinner at Uncle Dan and Aunt Laura's house.
The kids have done a great job getting back into the swing of our school routine and they get a reward. Today is Wii day!
PS I will try to get some pictures up soon. Our camera is on the fritz. I have taken a few with my phone, but they don't turn out as nice.
