Bones

Wild and crazy Punkin' decided to be our first to break a bone. And, he really did a number on his leg.

We were spending a Wednesday morning at a spray park in town. It just so happened to have a twenty foot twisty, enclosed tube slide. So, very wet Punkin' went down the slide. (This is the boy who went on the super fast, upside down roller coasters at Six Flags Great America last year because he was tall enough. He was 4. :)) He is not afraid of anything. But, he could use one of Grandpa and Daddy's t-shirts. They say, "It seemed like a good idea at the time."

He got his leg twisted up behind and broke his femur just above the knee. He is in a cast from his mid-thigh to his toes for at least eight weeks and he can not put any weight on it. But, it has not stopped him. He is trying more and more ways to get around. He is super speedy sliding on his bottom across the floor.

This will be an interesting summer!

First day! It was a tough and painful one until they drugged
him and put on his temporary cast. The other kiddos
were very sweet taking care of him.

Thankfully we still had this running stroller. It is the only
thing he fits in and has been sooooooo helpful.

Punkin' is so sweet and loves his family!

Sweet Baby's new hair cut

Well, I have given up on the super cute little boy hair cuts I have been giving Sweet Baby. Now he gets the "big boy" hair cut like all the other boys. Well, today our kitchen became a barber shop for a little while. My Sweet Baby is looking sooooo old. :(
