The Knack

My husband has the Knack. Here is how it is explained in a Dilbert cartoon:

"I'm afraid your son has the Knack - It's a rare condition characterized by an extreme intuition about all things mechanical and electrical."

This is a very amazing gift to have. He is able to fix just about anything: computers, anything in, on, or around the house, etc. Anything that can be taken apart and put back together is fair game.

Just last week he found a piano keyboard in someones garbage on the side of the road. It did not have a cord with it. So, he brought it home, found an extra cord in his stash, and charged it up. He took it apart, cleaned it up, and put it back together. He turned it on and it works wonderfully. We now have piano lessons as part of our homeschool!!

So...I am sure you will hear much more about the projects my husband brings home for us.
