Road Trip - Part 3

On our way to the Black Hills of South Dakota we drove through the Badlands and stopped at Wall Drug. The Badlands were beautiful! I don't remember appreciating their beauty this much when I was a kid. :) We enjoyed walking around and seeing all of the fun things at Wall Drug and enjoyed some ice cream.

Road Trip-Part 2

After Sioux City, IA we headed to De Smet, SD to enjoy some time with Laura...Laura Ingalls Wilder, that is!  We enjoyed the Ingalls Homestead and a play out on the prairie.  There was a drawing for some kids to be a part of the play.  Punkin's name was drawn and he had his acting debut. :)

Road Trip - Part 1

Our two week road trip began in Des Moines, IA at Daddy's cousin's wedding.  Congrats Jon and Hannah!  Then, we headed to Okoboji, IA for a week of fun at the beach with the whole clan.  Last, we headed to Sioux City, IA to eat lunch at Great Nana's favorite restaurant from when she lived there.
